The Strictly Limited series from Càrn Mòr gains another corker, this time from the Glen Elgin Distillery. It's brand of sweet, fruity whisky is presented at just 6 years old here, following maturation in a first-fill bourbon cask. It was bottled at 47.5% ABV.
Fresh and vibrant, with juicy pear drops and crisp green apples. A subtle hint of honeyed sweetness melds with delicate floral notes.
The initial burst of orchard fruits is met by sweet vanilla with a touch of malt lending depth and smooth texture.
Hints of apple and pear linger, leaving a clean, refreshing finish.
