Bourbon
A gorgeous Glen Elgin single malt right here, independently bottled by A.D. Rattray as part of its Cask Collection indie bottling range. It was distilled just a few days before Christmas 1995, and aged in a bourbon hogshead until March 2020. At 24 years of age, it was bottled up at cask strength, producing only 289 bottles.
Gingersnaps, honey on toast, milky coffee and blueberry muffin.
Biscuits once again, now more on the custard cream side of things. Spicy oak and more coffee, plus heather developing in the background.
Slightly grassy, though still packed with creamy vanilla.
