From The Single Malts of Scotland's Reserve Casks series comes a 12 year old Glen Elgin single malt, distilled in 2007 and drawn from four hogshead casks. It was bottled up at 48% ABV, and released as the third parcel in the series in 2020.
Peaches, pears and cooked apples, with hints of buttered toast and milky coffee.
Still buttery, but now with some zesty citrus and a little caraway spiciness.
Fudge, peppercorn and lemongrass.
