Smashing single grain Scotch whisky from the Girvan Distillery, which has been independently bottled by GreatDrams. This is a 14 year old expression, matured in an ex-bourbon hogshead, and boasting a brilliant buttery flavour profile. Top stuff for the grain faithful.
Vanilla pod and brioche, with a little milky coffee and fresh pear in the background.
Immensely buttery, with more vanilla and a hint of honey developing.
Still buttery, still excellent.
