Joining the Rare Auld collection of single grains from independent bottler Duncan Taylor comes this tremendous expression from Girvan! Distilled in April 2009, the whisky spent a dozen years resting in a single oak cask, until it was bottled up in August 2021, with a total of 477 bottles released.
Buttery, glazed pain aux raisin, gentle orange zest, a whiff of coconut and milk bottle sweeties.
Candied citrus, honeyed granola and creamy vanilla, flaky pastry with soft oak spice.
Peppery spice increases, whilst plenty of sweet buttery brioche, toasty cereal, and gentle zest lingers.
