A terrific 12 year old Irish single malt from Gelston's! Rested for a dozen years in oak casks, this is packed with plenty of zest and spice, making it ideal for sipping, and spot on for cocktails too.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Light, sweet tropical fruits and crisp green apple, toasty malt, caramel biscuits, orange peel, vanilla cream.
Palate
Charred pineapple, roasted nuts, fruit cake spice with a touch of clove, silky butterscotch.
Finish
Syrupy flapjack, more vanilla and zesty citrus, a prickle of ginger creeps in, balanced by sweet caramel and biscuity malt.
