Description
45 year old single grain from the closed Garnheath distillery, independently bottled by Càrn Mòr for the Celebration of the Cask series. This one was aged in a bourbon barrel from February 1974 to February 2019, and bottled the day after its 45th birthday at cask strength. A release of 128 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Grilled tropical fruit, milky coffee and some salted caramel.
Palate
Peach and plum, with underlying green apple sharpness. Still packing plenty of caramel notes.
Finish
Stroopwafel, cinnamon and chocolate sauce.
