From the giant Fuji Gotemba Distillery comes the brand's signature single malt. Yes, the distillery is at the base of Mount Fuji and that's where it gets its name. Matured in a combination of bourbon and beer casks (the brand is owned by the Kirin Brewery Company so has good access), this is an elegant, Scotch-style single malt.
Delicate smoke, orchard fruit, toffee fudge, Bounty chocolate, and cinnamon.
Poached pear, caramel sauce, ripe tropical fruit, and plenty of aromatic spice and smoke.

Great presentation - nicely designed box and the bottle. Sweet nose, slight influence of beer cask, very malty. Sweet on the palate and long, sweet finish. Well rounded, sweet with more than few layers of complexity. Recommended
Coming from a Scotsman, it does pain me to recommend a whisky not from my home country but this is a superb dram. Usually prefer the sweetness of a sherry cask too but this is lovely, don't know if its the beer cask in addition to the bourbon but it has gorgeous smooth sweet toffee finish Very drinkable neat considering its 46%. Great malt for the price.
This is the best Japanese whisky I’ve ever had! I love the taste and also the mountain at the bottom of the bottle. It’s definitely worth every penny! Perfect gift!
