Single Malt
Scotland
1 Jan 1990
1 Aug 2010

Named Freshly Cut Grass, and surprisingly reminiscent of the quintessential Summer scent, this was distilled at the Mortlach distillery in 1990 before it was aged for 20 years in a single refill puncheon before bottling by Wemyss Malts in August of 2010.
A green, grassy palate with notes of malt, cut hay and hints of Mezcal. A little lemon oil, nectarine and ginger.
Sweet and creamy, hay, peach, honey, peppery, nutmeg, a little cinnamon.
Clean, spiced, a touch of aniseed.
