Forest Whisky has made its way to its eighth batch! This time, it's made with all malt whiskies, and has been finished in very old (50 year old wood!) second-fill Oloroso sherry casks for 12 months before being bottled up at 47% ABV. As ever, wonderful bottle with a wonderful weasel upon it.
Chocolatey, with plenty of vanilla and red berries behind it.
Rounded malt, with cakey sweetness to it. A subtle whiff of cinnamon and toasted cedar builds.
Very slightly floral, though dried fruit remains core.
