A cask strength single malt, no one knows which distillery this has come from, Finlaggan remains a very closely-guarded secret.
I'm a huge fan of peaty Islay Malts but i did not enjoys this one very much, found it to be very rough and unbalanced with a spicynote that did not sit well with me. It's okey considering what a bottle cost but i'd spend the extra 20 quid that a Laphroaigh 10 yo CS costs anyday!
Was given a bottle as a gift, being a big fan of Islay single malts, I enjoyed it immensely just right with the essential aroma's and taste that a good islay should have
Peat wit tones of honey and wild flowers,s´´Soft with lots of flavours. Love it! I´d drink it with a small splash of water.
What a find! I do suspect Lagavulin is what makes this whiskey what is it. I'll rate it 8/10. If you enjoy the PeatBombs you'll love FCS.
