A handsome, smartly packaged Fettercairn. Fior is Gaelic for "true", and the whisky has an astonishingly rich flavour of cocoa, espresso, spices, fruit and almond. We love it. It was released in Summer 2010 as part of the distillery's rebranding process, which is positioning them into the premium market.

Beautiful on its own. No water. The almond stands very bold. Best whisky I had while traveling Scotland.

At a tasting with many other malts costing 4 or 5 times as much the Fior stood out as one of the very best. Deep and rich with chocolate and coffee notes and a smokey finish. Tremendously smooth and balanced. A really nice dram that has become one of my favorite single malts.
This is a favourite of mine. Purchased in Winnipeg summer 2016 on a trip home. Hauled back to Seoul where I work. I was thrilled with its strength of flavour despite being 42.3%. Unchillfiltered- great! Price - a little high in Manitoba where taxes are nuts. The price seems very reasonable here for what you're getting. Buy! WhiskyWhistle
