Fettercairn 16 Year Old (1L)
It's a litre sized bottle of Fettercairn's fabulous 16 year old single malt! Distilled from chocolate malt, which is more commonly a favourite of brewers than distillers, this whisky is matured in bourbon casks before finishing in sherry and Port casks. Impressively complex!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Boozy red berries, toasted teacakes and melted chocolate, with underlying baked earth spiciness.
Palate
Fruity coffee, hickory, chocolate again, just a touch of grassy malt, Golden Syrup Cake.
Finish
Toasted oak, plump raisins and candied ginger.
