One of four new Fettercairn expressions to be launched in August 2018, the Fettercairn 12 Year Old was intended to embody the distillery’s floral and exotic fruit-driven character. It was matured in American oak bourbon casks and bottled at 40% ABV.
Refreshing nectarine, white flowers and milk chocolate emerge initially. Black toffee and subtle roasted coffee provide darker notes underneath,
Tropical fruit and sticky Jamaican ginger cake add a sweet and spicy depth which a flicker of bitter herbs and vanilla complement.
Orchard fruits and soft spices linger.

So smooth with no hint of burning , bought another bottle for a friend and he agreed it is the best tasting whiskey he has experienced . Can highly recommend especially at the price .
I really enjoy this whisky. Bought 7 bottles about 5 weeks ago and working my way through them quickly. Delicious Highland, different to others I've tried. Would definitely recommend. Also, the bottle looks fantastic so also makes a great present.
Jamaican Ginger cake in a bottle. Simple but beautiful.
Delighted with the new releases from Fettercairn last year. The 12 year old has become a go to for me. The tropical fruits in there make for a very refreshing highball.
A friend recommended this to me, raving about tropical fruit notes like melon and pineapple. I was doubtful but gave it a go. Absolutely loved it, and pineapple is spot-on as a descriptor. Smooth and light and fruity whisky. I thought it got even better with a small splash of water. I'll definitely be buying this again.
