A fab Fettercairn, independently bottled for the Rest & Best Thankful range. This one aged in a single bourbon cask for a decade, from October 2008 to May 2019, and then it was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of only 218 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Banana fritters, honeydew melon and a touch of ripe mango.
Palate
Maltier than the nose, with heavy vanilla and buttered bread. Peanut brittle and baking spice develops later on.
Finish
Honey-roast peanuts, clove and black pepper.
