I visited the distillery in 2007 where I first tasted and bought a bottle to bring back to the US. I didn’t realize I could not buy more in the US otherwise I would have bought more. I thought it was fantastic as did I shared it with. Since I can’t get more I just found The Famous Grouse, although not the same it is very good at a very good pride that I will be sharing with my Scotch drinking friends.
Absolutely the best. Exceptionally smooth. Please remake. My all time favourite.
I bought a bottle of this at the suggestion of a man who worked in the Scotch whisky experience / tour place in Edinburgh. I was a young college kid who couldn’t decide what to buy and didn’t have a ton of money to buy anything real expensive. I told him what flavors I had liked while on the tour and he brought me a bottle of this. I was blown away and loved every drop. I have to think this guy did me a favor.. he certainly didn’t need to divulge such an amazing secret on a young American but he did and I m truly grateful. Scotch whisky lover for life and love paying it forward. Are there any Fettercairn current bottles similar To this?
Bought this about 10 years ago never opened . Didn't realise it was getting rare so will probably keep it did drink one previous bottle and really enjoyed
Would have kept the bottle if I have known earlier that this whiskey is no longer produced. All my friends enjoyed it. Some thought it tasted better than its age. All the best to anyone keeping a bottle for future. BS, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.
