Medium, oily, nutty. Spicy. Sweet honey. Crystallized stem ginger. Malty.

1824 was by any measure an awesome whisky. As good as any and absolutely mind-blowing when one looks at the price.

I got the last ( very last ) bottle at Chamonix....
yes agree with below, just finished last bottle i had and was hoping to buy a few more, very dissapointed to see now not available to buy- will have to find an alternative
