Fercullen Single Grain Amarone Cask
Spectacular single grain Irish whiskey from the Fercullen range, produced at the Powerscourt Distillery in County Wicklow. This limited edition was finished in Amarone casks and becomes the first to join the Estate Series trilogy; The Mill House. A total of 2,021 bottles were released.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cakey spice, anise, vanilla cream, and orchard honey, gently zesty with wafts of stone fruits and soft oak.
Palate
Sleek caramel with a dusting of sweet cinnamon, some tropical wafts of melon and kiwi, with milk chocolate raisins.
Finish
Fruit syrup lingers, countering crisp, dry oak, the creaminess continues with gentle, sweet spice.
