Famous Grouse is one of the world's most popular blends, and the best-selling Scotch whisky in Scotland. This whisky is a nicely balanced, malty blend which was first made in 1896. It went on to be known as The Famous Grouse, with the name registered in 1905. Around eighty years later, the company was awarded a Royal Warrant. The blend represents great value for money, and it also works beautiful in whisky-based cocktails. Delicious.

It used to be my favorite blended whisky. Nowadays it is simply impossible to drink. They messed up with the blend and made it the worst whisky I ever drink.
This is quite simply the finest blended scotch whiskey made. Affordably priced at around $20 bottle, crisp with a light nose this golden gem goes down super smooth with toffee apples, slight matly notes & a hint of spice. Absent are any prominant peety notes. My preference: I drink it cold with a half teaspoon of water
Total disappointment
The way it tastes now it's going to be famous for all the wrong reasons. Absolutely nothing like it used to be. Tastes watered down before you start. Get back to the old blend please.
