Famous Grouse is one of the world's most popular blends, and the best-selling Scotch whisky in Scotland. This whisky is a nicely balanced, malty blend which was first made in 1896. It went on to be known as The Famous Grouse, with the name registered in 1905. Around eighty years later, the company was awarded a Royal Warrant. The blend represents great value for money, and it also works beautiful in whisky-based cocktails. Delicious.
A perennial favourite with critics and connoisseurs alike, Famous Grouse whisky is a superb blend with a great deal of character. Today, more than 2 million cases are sold annually, making it one of the most popular whiskies in the world.
A crisp, light nose offering up notes of toffee apples, hints of dried flowers and biscuity barley.
Balanced, biscuit-laden palate with a core of thick, creamy malt. Just a hint of spice and the vaguest whisper of smoke really bring a great deal of complexity.
A slightly sweet, malty finish.
A very malty, biscuity blend. It's easy to see why this is so popular in Scotland!

Hi.I have just tasted the what I think is a slightly different blend and I am not impressed The colour is also different with a slightly reddish tinge.I will be looking for another whisky after drinking grouse for years. Why change something that does not need it.
Beautiful malty whiskey just the job when coming home on cold winters night. Highly recommended
I saw the Old Grouse on special at my local. I picked it up along with a cheap bottle of Seagrams 7 which was going for a tenner. As anyone reading this probably knows, S7 is a good distance from exquisite. One might call it a boy band of blends. I honestly found it more pleasant, from sip to breath. The malt is gone off and the biscuit has crumbled. For those who remember this once Famous blend, hold on to that memory. Some things don't last, some understandings seemingly cannot be past on.
Used to be my favourite brand . Just purchased a bottle with the new label design. Won't be purchasing the Famous Grouse again . Why ruin a good thing?
I had a bottle of this around 2012.it went down brilliantly and I have never forgotten how warm it felt when it went down.top marks for this scotch whisky.
