forgot to rate... three stars as well. In this rating I also include and applaud the fact that Grouse has remained consistently dependable quality wise for so long!
I agree that you can't go wrong with it. But boring? No, no. I get fresh oak, fall fruits, salt, butter, apple, white pepper, some citrus and some sherry and I find the nose charming and juicy, the palate more than ok and the finish actually quite long for a blend.
You can't really go wrong with this blend. It's as inoffensive as it gets. It's also kind of boring.
