FAIR. Oaxaca Whiskey

FAIR. presents: Oaxaca, an intriguing Mexican whiskey made with a helping of French flair. Its raw material is ancestral blue corn, sourced from Oaxaca, Mexico, hence the name, which is then double distilled in copper alembic stills. The whiskey is aged for four years in single-fill bourbon casks in Mexico and then treated to a finish for six months to a year in virgin Limousin oak casks in Cognac.

Also neat, FAIR. Oaxaca sounds a little like Frère Jacques. Here's the brand's signature cocktail: the Mexican Old Fashioned.

2oz FAIR. Oaxaca

1.5oz corn liqueur

3 dashes of bitters

Garnish with an orange twist

Stir the ingredients over ice, garnish, and serve.

Tasting Note by The Producer

Palate Complex on the palate with notes of marzipan, vanilla and dark chocolate.

Finish Rounded out with raspberry, cardamon and oak.
