Evan Williams is a brand of whiskey that has been around since 1783. The Evan Williams Extra Aged variety is a newer addition to the line, and it's made with Evan Williams' signature Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This whiskey is aged for a minimum of seven years in new, charred oak barrels.
Evan Williams Extra Aged whiskey has a rich, amber colour and a distinctively smooth flavour. It's perfect for sipping on its own or using in cocktails. If you're looking for a truly unique whiskey experience, Evan Williams Extra Aged is definitely worth trying.
Rich with vanilla and caramel on the nose which continues on the palate, it's produced by the Heaven Hill company in Kentucky.
Caramel apples, spearmint, black pepper. A light hint of corn sits in the background. A slightly spicy kick of clove.
Raisins and walnuts. Creamy vanilla at the core, with an underpinning hint of vegetal oak. Zesty orange oil.
Quite spicy, with drying notes of cinnamon bark and pine nuts.

Quality and price, a dream!?
$16.99 for a handle when it's on sale. Best bargain in booze if you ask me.
I'm not a bourbon expert by any means, but this whiskey stands up to alot of other bourbons, twice it's price Can't go wrong with a bottle of Evan!
Genuinely brilliant value bourbon. I'm not normally a fan but this has robust vanilla and caramel coming through, is surprisingly smooth for the price and a nice lingering finish. Great straight although I'll admit mine often end up in a traditional Old Fashioned
This is a really excellent, smooth, fresh and balanced bourbon. In my opinion there is a lot of nonsense in spirits that relates 1) age 2) price and 3) darkness to quality. This has none of the cloying sweet corniness that makes many bourbons ( in my opinion ) undrinkable and sickly. Fresh and characterful.
