A 2005 vintage peated Edradour single malt (which are presented under the name Ballechin), bottled as part of La Maison du Whisky's 60th Anniversary celebrations. To help accentuate the intense, smoky notes of the peat, this was given a finishing period in Carioni rum casks!
Sea salt and oatcakes, with plenty of vanilla-rich barley backing it up.
Delicately floral malt is juxtaposed with robust smoke, with bright notes of grilled pineapple and mango adding more character.
Spicy sparks of ginger and diced almonds.
