    Single Malt

Edradour 22 Year Old 1999 - Oloroso Cask Finish

Well-sherried single malt from the Edradour Distillery here – a magnificent sight if there ever was one! This expression was distilled all the way back in 1999, and aged for 22 years, including a finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks. Eventually, it was bottled at cask strength in 2021, with 1,331 bottles produced. Edradour does very well after a stay in sherry casks, so we're expecting a fabulous whisky...

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Toffee apple, coffee, blackberry jam, and brandy snaps.

    Palate

Ginger and cinnamon arrive first, shortly followed by stewed berries and a touch of black tea.

    Finish

Black Forest Gateau, a smidge of earthy barley peeking through the richness.
