Batch 2 of Edradour's Chardonnay Cask Matured Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Distilled in December 2003, this batch was bottled in February 2013.
Oak, apricots and golden sultanas. Honeyed barley and sweet dates.
Sweet maltiness, nutmeg and orchid fruits.
Soft oak with hints of apple and jasmine.

I'm sorry, but I don't like the idea of putting the whisky into just any barrel no matter what. To me, this smells and tastes like a dry acidic white wine from which I will get heart burn. I don't think it fits at all.
