A wonderful Edradour, distilled in December 2003 and aged entirely in a Chardonnay wine cask before bottling in September 2011. This is batch 1.
Crisp oak, malt and sweetness. A lot of dessert wine character, and things like sultanas, dates and toffee. Good sweetness, and very enticing.
Sweetness, lavender honey, toast, ice-wine, fruit, manuka honey and cinnamon.
Long and tangy with oak and floral notes, a little rose petal jelly on the tail.
