A beautiful release from Edradour's Straight from the Cask range. This an 11 year old single cask Highland malt, distilled on the 30th June, and finished in a Chardonnay hogshead before bottling on the 19th October 2011. A release of 433 very smart-looking bottles, bottled by hand.
Oaky and sweet, notes of dessert wines, manuka honey, raisin, apricot nectar and peppercorns.
A creamy, sweet palate with notes of apricot liqueur, hot-buttered white toast and cranberry. A touch of exotic spice.
Good length, notes of orange blossom and muscavado sugar.
