Edradour 12 Year Old 2012 Sherry Cask Strength
Another superb batch of Edradour's 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Strength single malt whisky here. Matured entirely in first-fill oloroso sherry butts and bottled at cask strength, without added colour – look at the hue! All the sherry! You can expect decadent layers of rich chocolate, stewed fruit, and spice here.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Rich, spiced fruit cake, packed with dried cherries and berries, with toffee and cinnamon snaps in tow.
Palate
Plump sultanas, a touch of marzipan, marmalade, and honeyed malt loaf, with sweet baking spices in tow.
Finish
Rich oak, cinnamon, clove, ginger, and caramel.
