Sherry

Once again, you can get your hands on some tasty sherried single malt from Edradour, presented in a very handsome Ibisco decanter! This one was distilled back in February 2008 and left to age for 12 years before being bottled in April 2020 at cask strength. A treat for the eyes and the taste buds.
Dried fruit, bread and butter pudding, a touch of sawdust.
Chocolate peanuts, slightly flinty minerals, black pepper and candied ginger.
A very light whiff of smoke sneaks out from behind orange and raisin sweetness.

Thick, complex, delicious, absolutely against the grain of ‘SMOOTH’ BS uncreative concocted flavour profiles..... this is arcivable example of what scotch single malt can unapologetically can be
Reminds me of sherbet dips.
Amazing hit of sherry beauty.
