This Edradour eas bottled 'Straight From the Cask' at natural cask strength, and finished in casks previously used in the production of Chateau d'Yquem Sauternes, the famous French sweet wine. This has given the whisky a lovely honeyed character.
The nose is like banoffee pie drizzled with honey and apple sauce with a big chocolate orange of a palate and a biscuity finish. This sis a very sweet, syrupy dram indeed!
This has to be the best whisky, first taste I got a honey with apple and grape with asweet after taste then it matured and got smoother then im sorry but I added asmall drop of water and it became smoother again. Edradour is one of my alltime favourite whiskys.
