This was distilled at Edradour on the 30th June 2000 before a hogshead maturation. Then, in 2008, it was re-racked into a Chardonnay wine hogshead before bottling for the Straight from the Cask range in early 2013. A release of 445 bottles.
Oaky, rich nose. Hints of dried apricot, manuka honey, butterscotch and malt.
Peppery, rich, wine-like palate. Corinth raisins and fresh flowers, a hint of dessert wine and cinnamon.
Grapey, slightly floral finish. Spiced.
