Edradour 10 Year Old 2009 (cask 12) - Artist #9 (La Maison du Whisky)

Single cask single malt from Edradour, filled into a first-fill sherry butt back in 2009 and left to age for ten years. In 2019, it was bottled by La Maison Du Whisky for the Artist #9 series, featuring the work of Wang Yabin on the label. 679 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Malty chocolate, lemon cheesecake, soft sawdust and a hint of herby caraway.

Palate

Apricot and clementine, followed by more citrus freshness. Still packs a helping of chocolate, though now it's a little lighter.

Finish

A tangy flash of sherry and quince on the finish.
