Sherry
This is a very smart-looking Edradour. It was distilled in 2005 and aged for 10 years in a Sherry butt (number 75). It was bottled at natural cask strength for the 'Straight from the Cask' range.
Rich sherry and peels. Brandy butter, prunes and cardamom. A little allspice.
Spiced, rum notes up front. Hints of molasses and cigar boxes. Sloes.
Long and peppery finish. Woody.
