Single malt from the Edradour Distillery released under the Ballechin name – so expect some spectacular smokiness to it. It was matured in an Oloroso sherry cask for 12 years, from 2009 to 2022, and then bottled up at cask strength for the Straight From The Cask series. 957 bottles were produced.
Smoked meats and honey roasted nuts, with a hint of milk chocolate coming through later on.
Juicy sultanas and raisins, with more meaty malt and smoke developing.
Sea salt, chocolate mousse, and brown sugar.
