Single Malt
Edradour
Scotland
This Caledonia Edradour is a single malt specially selected by songwriter Douglas Maclean and named after his famous song, Caledonia following a 12-year maturation in oloroso sherry casks.
Sweet, creamy and honeyed, with notes of Manuka honey, hints of dried fig and date, soft sherry and a hint of oak.
Full and rich with notes of berry fruits, and honey and butter on granary toast. More sherry, caramel and toasted almond.
Spicy, dry and sprinkled with a dusting of cocoa.

I've always liked Edradour whiskies, and have visited their charming little distillery. This one is darker (as I like them) with more complex notes from the storage in multiple casks. It came first in the whisky tasting session we had recently at Bates Cottages Cricket Club! Had to buy it after that, and I'm glad I did.
This is one of the best I've ever tasted. And I've tasted a few! And Masters of Malt were brilliant in changing the courier so I would get it time for my birthday. Fabulous sevice!!
A bunch of us old guys, fishing buddies for many years settle on a good scotch quite often. One of us spent time in Scotland and introduced us to the Edradour 10 year old which was fantastic. On a whim we ordered a 12 year old Caledonia and played Dougie's music while having a tasting party. The 12 wins with addition notes, flavors and finishes, but the 10 is still our go to. It is not available in Ohio so it is always a treat. Masters of Malt have bridged the gap in accessibility. Thanks
Definitely unique. Quite a tasty drop. 5/5 for being a really interesting and mysterious sip.
This is an interesting whisky! I’ve bought a few bottles now since I always offer this one up to guests (not to get rid of it but because it’s quite unique). At first I loved this stuff, then fell out of love and now I’ve settled back at really liking and appreciating it. To me it has notes of leather, syrup, dates and a lot more I can’t quite put my finger on. Definitely tasty and gets the the extra half a star for being one of a kind.
