This Caledonia Edradour is a single malt specially selected by songwriter Douglas Maclean and named after his famous song, Caledonia following a 12-year maturation in oloroso sherry casks.
Sweet, creamy and honeyed, with notes of Manuka honey, hints of dried fig and date, soft sherry and a hint of oak.
Full and rich with notes of berry fruits, and honey and butter on granary toast. More sherry, caramel and toasted almond.
Spicy, dry and sprinkled with a dusting of cocoa.

Definitely unique. Quite a tasty drop. 5/5 for being a really interesting and mysterious sip.
This is an interesting whisky! I’ve bought a few bottles now since I always offer this one up to guests (not to get rid of it but because it’s quite unique). At first I loved this stuff, then fell out of love and now I’ve settled back at really liking and appreciating it. To me it has notes of leather, syrup, dates and a lot more I can’t quite put my finger on. Definitely tasty and gets the the extra half a star for being one of a kind.
I had a large dram whilst visiting pitlochry and forgot to buy a bottle when there so I shopped online when I got home with my go to online shop!
I love this stuff. Unfortunately, I can't find anyone in the whole bloody USA that has it anymore! I've had to settle for the 10 year.
It's amazing that there's not enough words to express it..
