Edradour
Scotland
Single Malt
Edradour is one of Scotland's smallest distilleries and at the heart of the range, this 10 year old Eastern Highlander is a rather unique single malt, a decidedly rum-like dram with a thick mouthfeel. The distillery’s methods of production remain virtually unchanged in the last 150 years, and we can see why. If it ain’t broke and all that. This single malt’s decade of ageing was spent in a combination of oloroso sherry and bourbon casks.
Medium, great complexity. Thoroughly fruity, sherry, sweetness, alluring vanilla.
Cloying, seductive murkiness. Rum, barley, toasted almonds.
Spiced fruitcake with crème anglaise.

Absolutely love this whisky. Sherry bomb for sure, sweet , well balanced. Excellent for the price ! Perhaps my favourite Sherry influenced whisky.
Decent dram, creamy and smooth but lack intensity and flavours.
one of my favs this, although last(current bottle) isnt good. i think its corked, if thats what they call it but it has an odd smell and taste for edradour. normally this is a 5 star whisky. struth
To be quite honest my first impression was not great, but it improved with a touch of water and the longer I held the glass the better it became. Now it’s nothing less than 5 stars.
Sherry and complexity in abundance. Great value and quality for age and price point.
