East London Liquor Company's London Rye Whisky has had a bit of a makeover for 2022! While Bow Wharf might not be the first place you think of when rye comes to mind, the ELLC team are on a mission to change that with its fantastic whisky. It's crafted using rye and malted barley, which is double pot distilled and matured in a combination of regenerated oak, Hungarian oak, American oak, and even London brandy casks! Suitable for enjoying neat or in some terrific cocktails.
Roasted nuts, dried fruit, toasty spices with a whiff of red chilli pepper.
Apricot, black pepper, honey, dry oak, a smidge of floral sweetness building.
Rye bread with salted butter, plus hints of citrus lingering.
