An unpeated sinlge malt from the Ardmore distillery in the Highlands, released under the Culdrain name! Distilled in 2011, it was aged for just over a decade, including a nine-month finish in a single sherry octave cask, before it was bottled by Duncan Taylor for The Octave series. Just 71 cask strength bottles were released at 53.9% ABV.
Candied citrus peels, apricot jam, and spiced nuts.
Toasted brown sugar, marmalade, tart red fruit, and a whiff of cigar box.
Fruit and nut dark chocolate.
