This is the 2023 edition of Black Bull Kyloe Peated, a smoky blend of malt and grain Scotch whisky (with a higher proportion of the former) created by Duncan Taylor. It's bottled at a bold ABV without chill-filtration. This is a proper blend. One to put hair on your chest. Like a Highland cow. Speaking of which, that's exactly what a Black Bull Kyloe is, a breed of Highland cattle.
Bonfire embers, toasted oak, toffee apples, and smoked malt.
Orchard fruit, sea salt, brown sugar, lemon peel, and cinnamon.
Roasted peanuts, caramel, and oak char.

Thanks MOM, this was a great find! Very good value blend, I'm getting fresh young Coal Ila vibes. Quite the dram, what a lovely thing to come across fantastic lesser known malts. This is beautiful whisky.
