A straightforward, nutty and malty single malt from Speyside, the Singleton of Dufftown was released to replace the Singleton of Auchroisk. It’s aged in a high proportion of European oak casks.
If you're looking to use this little stunner in a cocktail, then you could do a lot worse than making a classic Highball. Or how about a signature Singleton serve?
Reach for the Peach
45ml of The Singleton
30ml of peach iced tea
90ml of soda water
Optional: 2 dashes of absinthe
Build all ingredients in an ice-filled Highball glass, give it a good stir, and garnish with a twist of lemon zest.
Malty with cereal/barley sweetness, buttery toast, wood shavings, hay and walnut.
Orange zest spiciness perks up a malty core of nuts, oak and toffee, hints of cut grass.
Oaky, rich with good length, some fruit lingers.

Very interesting specimen of whiskey, but very, very underrated in Europe! Great representative of Speyside!
Nice whisky, excellent tasten, Nice to drink. Love iT!
I enjoy this but I would not put it ahead of The Glenlivet. I find more interest in the Glenlivet taste. However this is a malt not to be missed and it may be more to your taste. I would fully recomend it.
I can't think of a whisky that is as carefully balanced as this one. It's not too vague, but also not too pronounced. It manages to keep you in the 'sweet spot'. It never bores, never disappoints, never offends. By far THE best bang-for-your-buck whisky out there!
I am a regular glenlevit drinker and one day last week I walked into a liquor store and saw bottle, I was instantly attracted to it and took it home for cheaper than the Glen. I went back again to get the bottle but it was sold out and out of distribution, very sad for me. My girlfriend who is a non scotch drinker loved it and is also going around town helping me find a bottle. If anyone has an idea where I'd find it in Houston TX, please post
