This indie bottling of Dufftown single malt comes from the Connoisseurs Choice range, manned by the brilliant folks at Gordon & MacPhail. It was distilled in 2004 and matured in refill bourbon barrels until it was bottled in 2014.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fragrant plum, pear and lime notes, with a centre of malt and honey.
Palate
Fruity sweetness up front, followed by lingering spice.
Finish
Quite short.
Overall
Suitable as an aperitif whisky.
