The first blended malt whisky from independent bottler Dràm Mòr, which is best known for its splendid single-cask releases. The tasting notes above are totally on point. The toffee & vanilla fudge notes on the nose continue on the palette for me, along with creamy porridge, golden syrup and baked apples. First tried at the Independent Spirits Festival 2025 in Edinburgh and bought a bottle there and then without hesitation. I suspect there's better aged stock in the mix because there is next to no alcohol burn and the flavours are incredibly well rounded for a NAS blend. Buy a bottle, you won't regret it.
This whisky is far superior than other blends. Smooth, full of flavours and can be drunk with or without a hint of water or ice. I prefer it without water or ice considering that I usually put small amount of water in other whiskies. This is my go to blend for late evenings.
