French rye whisky from Domaine des Hautes Glaces! Made using 100% rye grown on their plot and aged in French oak, this is complex and fascinating stuff.
Earthy at first, with a hint of salinity to it too. Soon enough, fruity rye and waxy peels develop.
Melon and raspberry, with spicy cedar and a touch of mint.
Lingering menthol and peppery oak.
