Indie bottler Decadent Drinks continues its collaboration with Whisky Sponge, this time with a German twist. Schwamm means 'sponge' in German, and for Edition 73B we have single malt whisky from Destillerie Ralf Hauer under the Saillt Mór label. Beechwood smoked German malt whisky distilled in 2014 and matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel for eight years was bottled in 2022 at an ABV of 57.1%. Only 250 bottles were produced of this herbal and smoky whisky.
