26-year-old single malt from Deanston, independently bottled by LIMITED. Distilled in 1996, the whisky matured in a single bourbon hogshead which remained locked in a Perthshire warehouse until it was cracked open in 2023.
Butterscotch and salted fudge are joined by zesty citrus, plums, and apples, with a dusting of warming spice in tow.
Buttery lemon curd softens hearty notes of spicy candied ginger and nutmeg, while toffee apples and liquorice tangle beneath.
Warming spices linger, with hints of fennel and anise.
