Deanston 12 Year Old typifies the citrusy, malty, honeyed, and waxy house style the distillery creates through its unique production process. The multi-award-winning single malt Scotch whisky is made from unpeated barley, sourced from the Scottish Highlands, and is bottled without chill-filtration or additional colour.
“It’s like a lawnmower has exploded in your mouth - it’s freshly cut grass, it’s sweet green fruits, it’s summer in a glass,” says master blender Julieann Fernandez.
Honeycomb, barley sugar, cut grass, and a touch of lemon oil.
Creamy vanilla, malt biscuits, and toasted oak with hints of nutmeg.
Lingering sweet citrus and spice.

The reviews are right. This is damn good highland scotch. Neat or with a splash of water.
This is an outstanding whisky. Always consistently good and excellent value for money.
First time tasting Deanston and I was pleased to find this whisky is good. It somehow isn't popular which is odd considering the value you get for money. I'm a lover of high proof whisky and thus is an excellent 12 year old. Light and oaky but still l has character. Will buy again
A pal took me to this distillery for a birthday treat, on the tour we sampled many of the whiskies and this one stood out as a fine example of the distillers art, to my taste it deserves 4 stars.
…. But over the course of the bottle I started to find it a little bit limited. Clean, bright and crisp, and undoubtedly a hit with everyone I gave a dram. Maybe it’s just that I prefer a bit of peat?
