It's the 2006 vintage Distillers Edition of Dalwhinnie single malt! These expressions are always well-received, and it's understandable why. Tasty Dalwhinnie, finished in Oloroso sherry casks – what's not to like? This edition was bottled up at 43% ABV, boasts a brilliant balance of dried fruit sweetness and rich spice.
Hot cross buns, a smidge of polish oak furniture, Cadbury's Fruit & Nut.
Sultana, caramel, nutmeg, orange oil and a subtle waxiness.
Honeyed barley, cinnamon and ginger, stewed berries.
A delightful dram with the distinct Dalwhinnie profile, beautifully matched with the sweetness of the sherry cask finish. Delivered promptly, securely and robustly packaged. Would buy again.
A beautiful dram with the distinct Dalwhinnie profile which is only further enhanced by the sherry notes from the Oloroso Cask. Master of Malt delivered promptly in very good and sturdy packaging. Would definitely buy again.
