Malty, buttery toasty, lashings of honey, barley. Stone fruits, nectarine. Touch of fragrant espresso.
Perfumed, refined. Cherry, strawberry, sherry, sultana. Malt, oranges. Madeira.
Oak tannins draw out the finish, winter spice, soft phenols.

IF you can find this increasingly rare bottling anywhere, I advice you to give it a try if you like sherry-matured whiskey at all. It's the deepest, richest sherry whiskey I ever tasted and is such a parade of taste that nothing really stands up to it.
